I had my son Jack in July 2013. Prior to having him, I had been working full-time as a Fitness Director and part-time as a Pilates Instructor. When my maternity leave was over, I went back to my full-time job and chose not to go back to teaching Pilates…..sigh…. As much as I loved teaching Pilates, I knew I wanted to be able to spend as much time as possible with Jack. But I missed teaching and I missed my clients. I wanted to figure out a way to get the best of both worlds. So I got myself online. That way I could be connected to all of my clients and do it from the comfort of my own home…or anywhere really. I also realized the potential to reach even more people by being online and that excited me too. The thought of building a Pilates-lovin’ online community sounded like a perfect fit!
Through my blog, I hope to encourage you to live a Pilates-based lifestyle (the way Joseph Pilates had in mind). A lifestyle that includes less stress, a strong body and re-newed sense of spirit, plus much more.
”The mind when housed in a healthful body, possesses a glorious sense of power”, Joseph Pilates 1939.
I want to lead you to a happier, healthier version of yourself…whatever that may be. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Let’s create a life that is intentional, healthy and vibrant. And let’s do it together. Talk to you soon over at the blog!
